Trying to come up for air…

I feel like I’m drowning, and I am trying very hard to stay calm. I am almost certain too much is on my plate right now. I’ve worked all weekend on plans for next week, and I’m not even taking a master’s class right now. I’m worried about how I’m going to balance it all. Any suggestions?

  1. Drop something. There is no shame in knowing your limits. If you can’t enjoy life a little, something needs to change.

  2. Mr. Chris is a wise man.

What good will it do the world (or you) if you are a complete basketcase because of being overwhelmed? Sometimes there are things we have to let go…though we love them. Decide where your priorities are and then go from there.

Also, realize that you don’t have to be a ‘super teacher’ 100% of the time. There are days you just may have to fly by the seat of your pants…
